What data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
Last updated: 22 May 2026 · Version 2.0
At Vunto we handle your data with the same principle we build the product on: honesty and the bare minimum. This policy explains, with no fine print, what data we collect when you use the Vunto mobile app and the website vunto.online, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.
The data controller is Vunto (“we”), owner and operator of the Vunto app and the website https://vunto.online.
For anything privacy-related, write to privacidad@vunto.online. We reply within 30 days.
We collect only what Vunto needs to work:
We do not collect special-category data (health, beliefs, religion, etc.), nor do we try to identify people in photos. Vunto is built for objects, not people.
You can revoke any permission from your device settings at any time; some features will stop working.
When you submit an image, it is transmitted encrypted to our servers and processed by artificial-intelligence models to identify the object and estimate its market value. To do so we may query public price sources (for example marketplaces) using data about the object, never your personal data.
Images are used exclusively to generate your analysis. We do not use them to train third-party models without your explicit consent.
We do not sell your data. Ever. We share only what is essential with providers who help us operate, all bound by confidentiality and data-processing obligations:
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety or integrity.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases we apply appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
When you delete your account, we erase or anonymise your personal data except what we must keep by legal obligation.
You are in full control. You can:
Deleting your account removes your profile, history and associated images. We process each request within 30 days.
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, token-based authentication and good security practices across our infrastructure. No system is infallible, but we work to minimise risk and respond quickly to any incident.
Under the GDPR and other applicable laws, you can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection at any time, and withdraw consent. If you live in California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know, delete and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights; we do not sell personal information.
Write to privacidad@vunto.online. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Vunto is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age your country requires) and we do not knowingly collect children’s data. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy to reflect product improvements or legal changes. We will publish the current version on this page with its date. If changes are significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
Vunto provides indicative estimates generated by artificial intelligence, not official appraisals or certifications. Each result includes its confidence level. Any buying, selling or keeping decisions are yours; Vunto does not guarantee the accuracy of the estimates nor accept liability for decisions based on them.
